Hey APW,
Most of you probably don’t know this about me but I love food. And beer. What can I say? I appreciate the finer things in life. Lucky for me, I’m from the Bay Area, where culinary adventures seem to be endless and the craft beer scene is booming. Tie that in with my New Year’s resolution (making more time to spend with people close to me) and you’ve got a Chelsea on a mission. A mission to spend some QT with my nearest and dearest while trying all the things.
So this week I did just that and finally made my way to Roses’ Taproom. And guys, it’s so dang cute in there. This isn’t your local dive either, more like a place for date night or a place to take your friend obsessed with interior design. And let me say, the beer was pretty dang good too!
Then, to top off my trying-new-things adventure, I headed over to FOB Kitchen. I heard through the grapevine that they were serving up some 🔥🔥🔥 Filipino food and knew I had to get over there. We ordered a whole bunch of dishes because life is short and sometimes you just need to indulge, right? The one thing I know for sure is that I’ll be dreaming of the pancit, jicama salad, and lumpia until I return!
But hey, I might have to switch it up and go on a weekend morning. I heard they do a mean brunch there too 😉.
