Hey APW,
Can we take a minute to call shenanigans on how busy January is when you’re an adult? I always want it to be like the start of the school year, where everyone is getting their footing and you don’t have real homework for the first few weeks. (In this fantasy, we’re still in eighth grade.) But alas.
After a crazy nonstop month, things are starting to settle down around here and I’m looking forward to a little boredom. This will be the first time in five years that I’m not shooting weddings every month, and I’m still trying to figure out what these weekend things are made of. (After reading the comments of last week’s paper flower tutorial, most of last Saturday was spent sobbing over Fried Green Tomatoes and trying to teach my geriatric dog how to use a ramp. These things are not related, but they are both true.)
This weekend, however, is all about that glorious Hallmark holiday… Valentine’s Day. Michael and I don’t have any big plans (unless you count getting the aforementioned geriatric dog an X-ray on her knee). But that’s okay, because APW is obviously my valentine anyway. To celebrate the occasion, I got you this box of Russel Stover chocolates, courtesy of Sarah Deragon‘s awesome candy study on Instagram (check out the #candystudy hashtag for more of your childhood favorites).
May your weekend be filled with the good kind of caramel and Ryan Gosling before he was off the market.
Cheers,
Maddie
